- Backhand Slice Return
- Create backspin by swinging from high to low with an open paddle face.
- Transfer your weight onto your front foot and lean into the swing with your front shoulder.
- Hit as much as possible on a forward trajectory to maximize how much the ball will skid when it hits the ground.
- Bend your knees and stay low through the shot.
- Follow through can be extended upwards after the downward motion is completed.
- Generate a mix of backspin and sidespin by contact the inside of the ball.
- Swing speed should be smooth but with enough paddle head speed to create significant spin.
- Prepare by turning your shoulders and hips then rotate through the ball to create the speed of your swing.
