- Drop Volley
- First recognize how far back your opponents are. If they’re behind the baseline and not coming up this is a good time to use a drop volley.
- Slide paddle face underneath ball to generate backspin and get some loft underneath the ball to get it to bounce in the kitchen and stop or come back.
- Avoid flicking your wrist. The paddle should be cocked with the head above your wrist.
- Bend your knees.
- Take a small swing. Backswing should not go past your body, your swing takes place all in front of your body. Large follow through is also unnecessary.
